Ripplix vs Bluefish: Which AI Visibility Tool Fits Your Team?

A fair comparison of Bluefish, the enterprise agentic marketing platform for the Fortune 500, and Ripplix: engines, prompts, accuracy, security, pricing and what each tool tells you to fix.

This page is for marketing teams and agencies weighing Bluefish against Ripplix. Both tools look at how AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity talk about your brand. Both also try to help you change what those assistants say. But they are built for very different buyers.

The one-line answer: Bluefish is a sales-led platform built for Fortune 500 companies, with a large team, enterprise security and its own strategists. Ripplix is a self-serve tool with public prices from $95 a month, built for brands and agencies that want to see exactly why a page lost an AI citation and what to change on it.

The short answer

Choose Ripplix if...Choose Bluefish if...
You want to see prices up front and start without a sales call. You are a very large company with many brands and teams to coordinate.
You want a page-by-page comparison of your page against the page AI cited instead. You need SOC 2 Type II, SSO, HIPAA readiness and an API or MCP connection.
You want to find the Reddit, Quora and forum threads that shape AI answers. You want AI shopping assistants like Amazon's tracked alongside chatbots.
You want to find new prompts from real buyer conversations. You want a dedicated, embedded team of strategists and analysts.

Bluefish and Ripplix at a glance

First, a few terms. AEO (answer engine optimization) and GEO (generative engine optimization) both mean improving how often AI tools mention and recommend you. A prompt is a question someone asks an AI tool, such as "best running shoes for flat feet." A citation is a link or source the AI shows next to its answer.

The table below compares the two tools as of October 8, 2026.

What each tool is and who built it

Bluefish

Bluefish calls itself an "Agentic Marketing Platform for the Fortune 500." An agentic platform is software that uses AI agents to carry out tasks, not only report on them. Its homepage says it is "Trusted by over 10% of the Fortune 500."1

In April 2026, Adweek reported that Bluefish raised a $43 million Series B, bringing its total funding to $68 million. Adweek named Adidas, American Express, Hearst and Ulta Beauty as customers.2 The company's own announcement said Threshold Ventures and NEA co-led the round. Amex Ventures, TIAA Ventures and Salesforce Ventures also joined.14

The CEO and co-founder is Alex Sherman. He previously co-founded PromoteIQ, a retail media platform that Microsoft bought in 2019. When Bluefish raised its Series A in 2025, Sherman told AdExchanger the platform was built "exclusively to support the Fortune 500."15 Bluefish now lists "120+ Global Bluefish employees" on its About page.16

The product is split into three suites. The AI Monitoring Suite helps you understand how AI describes you. The AI Optimization Suite helps you influence it. The AI Measurement Suite ties changes to results.1

Ripplix

Ripplix is bootstrapped. Its three founders bring nearly four decades of combined experience. Girish Kumar spent 18 years in digital marketing and growth at companies like Amazon, MakeMyTrip, Aviva and Airtel. Reshav Singh spent 15 years in SEO and performance marketing at Info Edge, Snapdeal and Lenskart, then held senior growth roles at MakeMyTrip and upGrad. Nikhil Singh, the CTO, built software, backend and data systems at Tripoto, Dipper, InnovAccer and Auro.edu.

Ripplix started as a growth consulting business. Clients began asking how they showed up in AI answers. The founders answered those questions by hand. They studied AI answers, compared competitor pages, looked at citations and tested changes. Some of those changes produced measurable improvements. Ripplix turns that hands-on work into software.

The consulting side still runs. Ripplix Consulting is a senior-only team for SEO, AEO, GEO, content and performance marketing, and every operator has 10+ years of experience.17 Lessons from client work feed back into the product.

What Bluefish focuses on

Bluefish deserves credit for several ideas that many tools in this category do not cover.

Accuracy, not only visibility

Most tools ask "were we mentioned?" Bluefish also asks "was it true?" Its AI Accuracy feature checks "Every claim AI makes about your brand" against "a verified source of truth."5 For a big brand, a wrong price, a recalled product or an old policy repeated by ChatGPT can be a real problem. Bluefish's headline metrics are AI Visibility, Favorability and Safety.5

Many teams, one view

Bluefish organises its work around seven teams: Brand, Content, Search, PR, Social, Paid Media and Retail. For example, the PR workflow aims to "Correct the narrative AI has learned from outdated or inaccurate press coverage." The Retail workflow aims to "Close PDP content gaps keeping products out of AI recommendations." (A PDP is a product detail page.)8

Audiences and shopping assistants

Its Custom Audiences feature breaks visibility and share of voice out "by your brand's defined customer personas."5 A persona is a profile of a typical buyer, such as "first-time parent" or "small business owner." Bluefish also tracks Alexa for Shopping, Amazon's AI shopping assistant.1

Agents and data delivery

Bluefish Agents send verified brand data to AI agents through MCP. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard way for AI tools to connect to outside data. The aim is that AI models rely less on whatever they happen to find on the open web.9

Enterprise controls

Bluefish lists SOC 2 Type II, SSO, HIPAA-Ready, MFA and API/MCP under "Enterprise-Ready."1 SOC 2 is an independent audit of how a company protects customer data. SSO (single sign-on) lets staff log in with their company account.

Engines, data and prompts

Engines

Bluefish says it tracks "10+ LLMs" daily, including Alexa for Shopping.1 An LLM (large language model) is the type of AI behind tools like ChatGPT. Its pages and press coverage name ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Amazon Rufus.52

Ripplix's Starter plan covers 3 engines. Pro and Advanced cover 4. You pick from ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI and Perplexity. Enterprise adds Claude, Copilot, Grok and DeepSeek.4

So Bluefish has the wider range. Ripplix does not list Amazon's shopping assistants at all.

Where the prompt list comes from

If you track questions nobody asks, a high score means little.

Bluefish sets up its tracking around "your audiences, your product lines, and your priorities." Its FAQ refers to a "static prompt set," meaning a fixed list that stays the same so results can be compared over time.5 That is a sensible choice for steady reporting.

Bluefish builds that set itself. It says it "generates synthetic prompts, tens of thousands of representative simulations" of what buyers want. "Every topic and category is validated against real consumer search volume, including Google AI Overviews and AI Mode." Customer teams then review and approve every prompt set.6 Bluefish does not list a feature that pulls prompts from Reddit or forum conversations.

Ripplix's Prompt Discovery goes looking for the questions buyers actually ask. It pulls them from three places:7

  1. Real discussions. Reddit and Quora threads where people ask for advice.
  2. Search behaviour. Google's "People Also Ask" questions.
  3. AI fan-out queries. When an AI tool answers a question, it often runs several smaller searches first. Those smaller searches are the fan-out.

It then groups the prompts into themes. You can also upload your own prompts or keyword themes. Our guide to prompt discovery from buyer questions walks through the method.

The honest catch: Prompt Discovery is on Ripplix's Pro plan and above, not Starter.4 On Starter you bring your own prompt list.

Community threads

AI answers often draw on Reddit, Quora and forums. Ripplix's Discussions feature finds the Reddit, Hacker News, Quora and forum threads shaping AI answers. It shows brand and competitor mentions with sentiment, and flags high-impact threads worth joining.7

Bluefish's Social workflow looks at "how social content and mentions feed AI's understanding of your brand."8 Its pages do not describe a tool for finding individual community threads.

What happens after the dashboard

Most tools in this category are good at measurement. They show you that a number went down. The hard part is the next step: what exactly should your team change? Bluefish and Ripplix both take this seriously, in different ways.

How Bluefish handles it: ranked tactics and Agentic Campaigns

Bluefish says it "generates brand-specific optimizations, ranks them by impact, and assigns each one to the team that owns it." It describes these as "page-specific tactics grounded in your data: a blueprint for what to do next."9

The bigger feature is Agentic Campaigns, launched in June 2026. You set a goal, such as better AI Visibility, Favorability, Safety or Accuracy. You choose which AI channels to focus on. Bluefish then studies past performance, works out what is driving it, and creates tactics for content and data, with the reasoning behind each one. Once the campaign is live, it "automatically tracks the KPI impact of each change."18 Bluefish adds that "Your team keeps the final say on what goes live."9

Its Measurement Suite then links results back to the work. Its Attribution feature lets you "Point to a specific tactic, on a specific date, and the exact metric it moved."11 Bluefish also runs a Technical AEO Check that measures technical health "at the site level and across every individual page in a sitemap."10 In one of its own case studies, a luxury brand had few pages cited in ChatGPT because security settings were blocking AI crawlers. The fix was to remove that block.19

How Ripplix handles it: Win/Loss, Content Optimization and Discussions

Ripplix follows a five-step flow: Monitor, Compare, Understand, Diagnose, Act.7 Its key move is to compare one page against one page.

  • Win/Loss Analysis compares your page with the page the AI cited instead. It scores signals like structured data (code that labels your content for machines), freshness, depth, technical basics, domain authority, answer clarity, structure and comprehensiveness. Then it explains why you lost the citation, gives a recommended next move and builds an action plan. The analysis uses deterministic checks (fixed rules) plus model-assisted scoring.7 Our complete guide to win/loss analysis goes deeper.
  • Content Optimization gives each page an AI-readiness score. It checks your page copy, HTML, schema and robots.txt together, then lists fixes backed by evidence.7 Crawler Access, on Pro and above, checks whether the AI crawlers that matter can reach your site.4
  • Discussions points you to the community threads worth joining.7

A worked example (illustrative)

The brands below are invented, to show how each approach works.

PipeTrack sells CRM software. Its visibility in ChatGPT for "best CRM for small agencies" dropped over three weeks. A rival, Optra, is now recommended in most of those answers.

StepBluefish's approachRipplix's approach
1. Spot the dropVisibility and Influence Rank fall. Citation Analysis shows which URLs ChatGPT now uses.Visibility and share of voice fall. The "why visibility changed" timeline marks when it started.
2. Find the causeImpact Score shows which sources carry the most weight. AI Accuracy might flag that ChatGPT is quoting PipeTrack's old pricing.Win/Loss compares PipeTrack's agency page with the Optra page ChatGPT cited. It might find the Optra page was updated last month, has a pricing table and uses FAQ schema, while PipeTrack's page shows 2024 pricing.
3. Decide the fixAn Agentic Campaign with a Visibility goal produces ranked tactics, each assigned to the team that owns it.The action plan lists specific fixes: update pricing, add a comparison table, add FAQ schema, tighten the opening answer.
4. Check the workAttribution ties the change to the metric it moved, on the date it shipped.Content Optimization re-scores the updated page.

Both paths lead to action. Bluefish is stronger at running the work across many teams and proving results to leadership. Ripplix is more direct about one question: what did the winning page do that ours did not?

Ripplix's customers point to this. Neha, from Marketing at Recruit CRM, said: "The useful part wasn't just finding out that we were losing visibility. Ripplix showed us what the competing pages were doing differently and where we could improve."7

Pricing and the cost of coverage

Bluefish does not publish prices. Its sales page offers a demo request and lists no plans, trial or minimum contract.3 So a fair per-prompt comparison is not possible.

The only public cost figure comes from a study Bluefish commissioned from Forrester Consulting. It modelled a made-up $35 billion company with 20 brands. It projected a return of 220% to 446% "on total costs of $2.9 million." The post does not say what that total covers or over how many years.20 That is not a price list. But it shows the size of company Bluefish is built for.

Ripplix lists every self-serve price. Here they are at monthly billing, as listed on October 8, 2026.4

PlanMonthly pricePromptsEnginesBrandsCost per prompt
Starter$9510031$0.95
Pro$29530043about $0.98
Advanced$495500410$0.99
EnterpriseCustomCustom7+UnlimitedCustom

Paying yearly gives two months free. That brings Starter to $79 a month, Pro to $246 and Advanced to $413.4

How many AI answers that buys (our arithmetic)

Each tracked prompt runs every day on every engine in your plan. So you can count the AI answers checked in a 30-day month:

  • Starter: 100 prompts × 3 engines × 30 days = 9,000 answers, for $95. That is about 1.1 cents per answer.
  • Pro: 300 × 4 × 30 = 36,000 answers, for $295. That is about 0.8 cents per answer.
  • Advanced: 500 × 4 × 30 = 60,000 answers, for $495. That is about 0.8 cents per answer.

This is our own arithmetic from Ripplix's public list prices, checked on October 8, 2026. It uses monthly billing and no add-ons. We cannot run the same sum for Bluefish, because its prices and prompt limits are not public.

The price also includes optimization credits for Win/Loss and Content Optimization: 1,000 a month on Starter, 3,000 on Pro and 6,000 on Advanced.4 You can start any self-serve plan without a credit card and see your first snapshot before you commit.4 There is also a free AI Visibility Report with no credit card, benchmarking you against up to four competitors. See the Ripplix pricing page for full details.

Agency and team fit

Bluefish is shaped around one big company with many brands and departments. Its services team offers "a dedicated team of AI marketing strategists and AI analysts" and describes itself as "A fully embedded team, working as your own."13 It also works with agencies. For example, MMC, an Omnicom public relations agency, launched an insights product called WEATHERvaiNE that is "powered by Bluefish."12 Bluefish does not list a separate agency plan.

Ripplix handles agencies through brand limits on its standard plans. Pro covers 3 brands and 10 competitors. Advanced covers 10 brands and 25 competitors, with 24 months of history. Enterprise has unlimited brands.4 Pro and above include unlimited team members.4

Ripplix also has people behind the software. Advanced includes on-call support, and Enterprise includes active consulting and custom onboarding.4 Because the founders run a senior consulting team, you can get help from people who have done AEO work for clients themselves.17

Where Bluefish is stronger

Here is where Bluefish has the edge today:

  1. Scale and funding. $68 million raised, 120+ staff and about 10% of the Fortune 500 as customers.16
  2. Security and compliance. SOC 2 Type II, SSO, HIPAA-Ready and MFA are listed.1 Ripplix does not list SOC 2, and mentions SSO and security review only as Enterprise options.4
  3. Integrations. API/MCP and "15+ provider integrations."1 Ripplix does not list an API.
  4. Accuracy checking. Checking each AI claim against a verified source of truth is not something Ripplix lists.5
  5. AI shopping. Alexa for Shopping tracking and retail workflows for product pages.18
  6. Measurement for leadership. Attribution that ties a specific tactic to the metric it moved, plus a Forrester study to show a finance team.1120

Ripplix is also newer and smaller, and it is not an SEO suite (no keyword database, backlinks or rank tracking).
