Ripplix vs Peec AI: Which AI Visibility Tool Fits Your Team?

An honest comparison of Ripplix and Peec AI: engines, prompts, pricing per prompt, agency plans and what each tool tells you to do after the dashboard.

This page is for marketers and agencies choosing between Peec AI and Ripplix. Both tools track how your brand shows up in AI answers from tools like ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews. Both are self-serve, both start at $95 a month, and both offer multi-brand plans that suit agencies. That makes Peec the closest like-for-like comparison Ripplix has.

The one-line answer: Peec is a popular, polished tracker with unlimited seats and strong reporting links like Looker Studio. Ripplix gives you twice as many tracked prompts on the $95 Starter plan, more prompts per dollar on every self-serve plan, and goes further on the "what do we fix?" question, down to the level of a single page.

The short answer

Choose Ripplix if...Choose Peec AI if...
You want more tracked prompts for each dollar you spend. You need unlimited seats on the entry plan.
You want to know why a specific page lost a citation, and what to change on it.You want a Looker Studio connector, an API on mid-tier plans, or an MCP connection.
You want help finding the Reddit, Quora and forum threads that shape AI answers. You want a large number of AI models available on Enterprise.
You want content checks and fixes inside the same tool. You want an agency plan built on shared credits and free pitch projects.

Peec AI and Ripplix at a glance

First, three terms you will see a lot. AEO (answer engine optimization) and GEO (generative engine optimization) both mean improving how often AI tools mention and recommend you. A prompt is a question you ask an AI tool, such as "best CRM for small agencies." A citation is a link or source the AI shows next to its answer.

The table below compares the two tools as of October 8, 2026.

What each tool is and who built it

Peec AI

Peec AI calls itself "AI search analytics for marketing teams." Its site says it is "Trusted by 3000+ brands and agencies."5

Peec is based in Berlin. It was founded by Marius Meiners (CEO), Tobias Siwonia (CTO) and Daniel Drabo (CRO), who met in Antler's Winter 2024 program. In November 2025, TechCrunch reported a $21 million Series A led by Singular. At that time Peec had passed $4 million in annual recurring revenue (yearly subscription income) about 10 months after launch, with 1,300 companies and agencies on the platform.1

Ripplix

Ripplix is bootstrapped. Its three founders bring nearly four decades of combined experience. Girish Kumar spent 18 years in digital marketing and growth at companies like Amazon, MakeMyTrip, Aviva and Airtel. Reshav Singh spent 15 years in SEO and performance marketing at Info Edge, Snapdeal and Lenskart, then held senior growth roles at MakeMyTrip and upGrad. Nikhil Singh, the CTO, built software, backend and data systems at Tripoto, Dipper, InnovAccer and Auro.edu.

Ripplix started as a growth consulting business. Clients began asking questions about how they showed up in AI answers. The founders answered those questions by hand. They studied AI answers, compared competitor pages, looked at citations and tested changes. Some of those changes produced measurable improvements. Ripplix turns that hands-on work into software.

The consulting side still runs. Ripplix Consulting is a senior-only team for SEO, AEO, GEO, content and performance marketing, and every operator has 10+ years of experience.13 Lessons from client work feed back into the product.

Data, engines and tracking

Engines

On Peec's self-serve plans, you choose 3 AI models. The list includes ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI. You can add more models in your dashboard for an extra fee. Peec's Enterprise plan tracks up to 13 models, including Claude Sonnet 4, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen, Mistral and Perplexity.4

Ripplix's Starter plan covers 3 engines. Pro and Advanced cover 4. You pick from ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI and Perplexity. Enterprise adds Claude, Copilot, Grok and DeepSeek.3

This means Peec has the wider menu, especially at the top end. If you need Naver AI for Korea, or Qwen and Mistral, Peec covers models that Ripplix does not list. If you mainly care about ChatGPT, Gemini, Google and Perplexity, Ripplix's Pro plan includes four engines without add-ons.

Metrics

Both tools report the core numbers most buyers expect:

  • Visibility. How often your brand appears in AI answers.
  • Share of voice. Your share of all brand mentions in your category, compared with competitors. Our guide on how to read share of voice explains it in more detail.
  • Position. How high up the answer your brand appears, on average.
  • Sentiment. Whether the AI describes you in a positive, neutral or negative way.
  • Sources. Which websites the AI used or cited to build its answer.

Both also show fan-out queries. When an AI tool answers a question, it often runs several smaller web searches first. Those smaller searches are the fan-out. Peec added a Query Fanouts page in July 2026.8 Ripplix shows the related queries and sub-topics AI models explore when building a response.6

Ripplix connects AI visibility to real website visits through referral traffic from AI platforms.6 Peec offers this too, through its AI referrals view, which connects to Google Analytics 4.9 Ripplix also adds a "why visibility changed" timeline. This marks the moments your visibility moved and explains the likely cause, such as a guide that gained citations or outdated pricing that weakened recommendations.6

Prompts: where your question list comes from

If you track questions nobody asks, a high score means little.

Peec's approach

Peec suggests prompts and shows search volumes, so you can focus on the questions with the most demand.5 In 2026 it added a Prompt Builder that generates a prompt set for your brand, and automatic tags that sort prompts by branded status and intent.8 You can also add your own prompts, one by one, in batches or from a CSV file.14

Ripplix's approach

Ripplix's Prompt Discovery looks for the questions buyers actually ask. It pulls them from three places:6

  1. Real discussions. Reddit and Quora threads where people ask for advice.
  2. Search behaviour. Google's "People Also Ask" questions.
  3. AI fan-out queries. The sub-questions AI tools search for while answering.

It then groups the prompts into themes. You can also upload your own prompts or keyword themes. Our guide to prompt discovery from buyer questions walks through the method.

The honest catch: Prompt Discovery is on Ripplix's Pro plan and above, not Starter.3 On Starter you bring your own prompt list.

What happens after the dashboard

This is the biggest difference between the two tools. Most tools in this category are good at measurement. They show you a number went down. The hard part is the next step: what exactly should your team change?

How Peec handles it: Actions

In February 2026, Peec launched a feature called Actions. It is still in beta. Here is how it works, according to Peec's own launch post:7

  • Owned Media Actions point to content you could create on your own site. They are grouped by page type: articles, product pages, listicles, how-to guides, category pages and comparison pages.
  • Earned Media Actions point to third-party sites that shape AI answers. They are grouped as Editorial, UGC (user-generated content, like Reddit and forums) and Reference.
  • Each Action gets a Low, Medium or High opportunity score. The score is based on how often AI models cite that type of source, and how far behind your competitors you are there.

Peec is clear about where it stops. Its post says Actions "doesn't write content for you" and sums up the approach as "We suggest options. You decide what to build." It also lists measuring impact after you ship as something still to come.7

How Ripplix handles it: Win/Loss, Content Optimization and Discussions

Ripplix goes one level deeper, to the single page. It follows a five-step flow: Monitor, Compare, Understand, Diagnose, Act.6

  • Win/Loss Analysis compares your page with the page the AI cited instead. It scores signals like structured data (code that labels your content for machines), freshness, depth, technical basics, domain authority, answer clarity, structure and comprehensiveness. Then it explains why you lost the citation, gives a recommended next move and builds an action plan. The analysis uses deterministic checks (fixed rules) plus model-assisted scoring.6 Our complete guide to win/loss analysis goes deeper.
  • Content Optimization gives each page an AI-readiness score. It checks your page copy, HTML, schema and robots.txt together, then lists fixes backed by evidence.6
  • Discussions finds the Reddit, Hacker News, Quora and forum threads that shape AI answers. It shows brand and competitor mentions with sentiment, and flags high-impact threads worth joining.6

Win/Loss and Content Optimization use monthly credits. Starter includes 1,000 credits, Pro 3,000 and Advanced 6,000, and you can buy more.3

A worked example (illustrative)

The brands below are invented, to show how each approach works.

PipeTrack sells CRM software. Its visibility in ChatGPT for "best CRM for small agencies" dropped over three weeks. A rival, Optra, is now recommended in most of those answers.

StepPeec's approachRipplix's approach
1. Spot the dropVisibility and share of voice charts show the fall. Sources show which domains ChatGPT now cites.Visibility and share of voice charts show the fall. The "why visibility changed" timeline marks when it started.
2. Find the causeActions might rank "Listicles" (Owned) and "UGC" (Earned) as high opportunity, with the top domains and common phrases for each.Win/Loss compares PipeTrack's agency page with the Optra page ChatGPT cited. It might find the Optra page was updated last month, has a pricing table and uses FAQ schema, while PipeTrack's page shows 2024 pricing.
3. Decide the fixThe team reviews the suggested page types and decides what to build. The action plan lists specific fixes: update pricing, add a comparison table, add FAQ schema, tighten the opening answer.
4. Check the workThe team marks the Action as done.Content Optimization re-scores the updated page before it goes live.
5. Earned mediaUGC Actions point to forum and Reddit sources that matter in the category.Discussions surfaces the actual threads where Optra is being recommended, with sentiment.

Both paths are useful. Peec tells you where to focus at the category level. Ripplix tells you what is wrong with one page, compared against the page that beat it.

Ripplix's customers point to this same gap. Harsh Kishore, GTM at Whatfix, said: "The biggest difference is that Ripplix connects the measurement to the next step. We're not just tracking visibility anymore; we're using the insights to decide what to work on."6

Pricing and value: the per-prompt maths

Both tools price mainly by the number of prompts you track. Here are the self-serve plans, at monthly billing, as listed on each vendor's site on October 8, 2026.423

PlanPeec pricePeec promptsPeec enginesRipplix priceRipplix promptsRipplix engines
Starter$95503$951003
Pro$2451503$2953004
Advanced$4953503$4955004
EnterpriseCustomCustomUp to 13CustomCustom7+

Both offer a discount for paying yearly. Peec takes about 15% off.4 Ripplix gives two months free, which brings Starter to $79 a month.3

Cost per tracked prompt (our arithmetic)

To compare fairly, divide the monthly price by the number of prompts. Here is the sum for Starter:

  • Peec: $95 ÷ 50 prompts = $1.90 per prompt
  • Ripplix: $95 ÷ 100 prompts = $0.95 per prompt

Now do the same across every plan. A prompt is checked on every engine you track, so the last two columns also count each prompt-and-engine pair.

PlanPeec per promptRipplix per promptPeec per prompt per engineRipplix per prompt per engine
Starter$1.90$0.95$0.63 (50 × 3 = 150 pairs)$0.32 (100 × 3 = 300 pairs)
Pro$1.63$0.98$0.54 (150 × 3 = 450 pairs)$0.25 (300 × 4 = 1,200 pairs)
Advanced$1.41$0.99$0.47 (350 × 3 = 1,050 pairs)$0.25 (500 × 4 = 2,000 pairs)

This is our own arithmetic from public list prices, checked on October 8, 2026. It uses monthly billing and no add-ons.

So on Starter, Ripplix tracks twice as many prompts for the same $95. On Pro and Advanced, Ripplix's per-prompt cost stays under $1, and Peec's falls as you move up.

What the per-prompt view leaves out

Price per prompt is not the whole story. Be fair to both sides:

  • Seats. Peec includes unlimited users on every brand plan.4 Ripplix Starter includes 2 team members. Pro and above are unlimited.3
  • Countries. Peec says you can track any supported country or language at no extra cost.4 Ripplix does not list country options on its pricing page.
  • Brands and projects. Peec Pro includes 2 projects and Advanced 5.4 Ripplix Pro includes 3 brands and Advanced 10.3
  • Optimization credits. Ripplix's price includes Win/Loss and Content Optimization credits. Peec says it does not write content, so there is no matching item.7
  • Trying it first. Peec's pricing page offers a free trial.4 Ripplix lets you start any self-serve plan without a credit card and see your first snapshot before you commit.3 It also offers a free AI Visibility Report with no credit card, benchmarking up to four competitors.6

For full plan details, see the Ripplix pricing page.

Agency and team fit

Peec has a separate set of agency plans: Essential, Growth, Scale and Comprehensive. They run on shared credits. One credit equals one prompt on one model for one day, and each client project needs at least 900 credits.12 Agencies can run free 7-day pitch projects to show prospects their data before signing.10 Peec says every agency tier includes unlimited seats, its MCP connection, API access, all AI channels, Looker Studio, CSV export and daily tracking.10 That is a strong package for agencies that build client dashboards.

Ripplix handles agencies through brand limits on its standard plans. Pro covers 3 brands and 10 competitors. Advanced covers 10 brands and 25 competitors, with 24 months of history. Enterprise has unlimited brands.3 There is no separate agency credit system to plan around.

Where Ripplix differs most for agencies is the people behind it. Advanced includes on-call support, and Enterprise includes active consulting and custom onboarding.3 Because the founders run a senior consulting team, agencies can get help from people who have done AEO work for clients themselves.13

Where Peec AI is stronger

Here is where Peec has the edge today:

  1. Seats on entry plans. Unlimited users from Starter up.4 Ripplix Starter has 2.
  2. Integrations. Peec offers a Looker Studio connector and an MCP connection to tools like Claude, Cursor and n8n.5 Its help centre says its API is available on all plans except Starter.11 Ripplix does not list an API or BI connectors.
  3. Model range. Up to 13 models on Enterprise, plus add-on models on self-serve plans.4
  4. Extra modules. Peec has added AI Shopping Analytics for product-level visibility in ChatGPT, an Ads page for ChatGPT sponsored placements, and log-based crawler insights.8
  5. Scale and funding. More customers, more funding and a larger team.51

  • You want to see exactly why a competitor's page beat yours, and get a fix list for your page.
  • You want to find the community threads shaping AI answers about your category.
  • You want page-level content checks and a fix list in the same tool as your tracking.
  • You want the option of senior practitioner support as you grow.
